Lee Fish takes pride in all areas of its operations and minimises its environmental footprint wherever possible.
On land - the factory recycles all cardboard and soft plastics, re-uses strapping, and recycles water used in production in a state-of-the-art treatment plant.
We're involved in the 'Materials Accelerator Packaging Forum' which is currently trialling a completely biodegradable corn-starch (polylactic acid) polystyrene alternative with the Biopolymer Network.
On the water - all vessels are EU registered. Part of this accreditation requires ensuring that MPI's stringent standards are met for all chemicals onboard as well as hygiene/handling/onboard practices. Lee Fish provides cardboard recycling and waste bins for vessels free of charge to encourage and make it convenient for vessels to dispose of their waste correctly.
